Yay! I finally has intarwebs, really fast intarwebs too! Tomorrow I'm getting upgraded from 8Mbps to 15Mbps intarwebs!!! :jig: :jig: :jig:


For those that don't know, I was connecting wirelessly through a neighbor's intarwebs.

That's really good... 15MBps...
My friend had 2MBps when he was living off campus, which had to be shared between 5 people. I hope the house I get off campus next year will be better than that. I'd kill myself with internet that slizzow.

Shouldn't you have almost unlimited bandwith on a uni campus? I know in the buildingblocks the university offers here, they must have terabytes of bandwith shared by a couple of hundred. It's really the download walhalla of the city.

If only that were true. You have to share the bandwidth between thousands of users. We had 500MB of bandwidth that recharged at 21MB per hour. Of course I never cared about that little problem and I just downloaded to my heart's content.
They did warn me about it though, saying that if I continued like that they would cut my internet and have me pay for a reactivation fee. They said I was the 6th highest bandwidth user on campus, having used almost 40GB in a week.

Hehe that is what I used to use in a day.... I have more than 60 TiB uploaded, though I quit that game sometime ago now.....
