About the reset. I've started over so many many times so I don't have a tough decision letting go of my precious pixels. Then again this time I just started like 1 week ago. :D

I'm thinking of starting a javama as my first char. Just to be different. :) Then maybe a blizzballer. All this IF I have time.

I started with a java last time. easy chars to start with coz u can just use any rare javas with ias or even white ones if u truly cant find any. NM durel was kind enough to drop me Tits tho :D and a mate found Tgods A day later

I'm hoping for that kind of luck. :)

Titans are pretty common (+4)
3/20 gloves can be shopped (+3)
Spirit is cheap (+2)
Circlets with skills are not that hard to find (+2)

Easy to find lots of skills. :) Also Javama is perhaps my favorite character ever on d2.

My new barb was only 1 week from being completed! T_T
It was the last char i wanted to do BEFORE reset.

Mmm, I'll go away tomorrow and be back on the 14th... maybe I managae to finish him. :)

I just re-started around 2 months ago and yesterday i made my first good runeword a Faith GMB. Well it seems i have to re-start again :)
I will probably start with a Mace Barb cheap equipment to start and easy to do mephruns, keyruns, etc.

Hmmm they should have announced it 2 months before the reset... I've alot of unfinshed chars... I think that I'll quit D2 after reset if there is no patch

Although I love the ladder reset and I am looking forward to build my favourite HC ladder chars again, I still hope that there will be some kind of patch/new event/bugfixes, too ... otherwise my anticipation is somewhat limited. (come on, Blizzard!)
IIRC the 1.11 patch was applied about 1 week before ladder season 3 start.

Great.

Any self-respecting d2 player will have at least two of his chars equipped to the max and a bunch of hr's and other wealth stashed by now. So it's about time, I was starting to become a little clueless as to what to do with all my mules etc.

I love restarting \o/. Will be nice to join the start of the season with all the other noobs once again. Maybe it will again be possible for a while to play through acts without some idiot feeling the need to rush the whole party.

Something that would be cool in a new patch is improvement of the other mercs. Give them something more to be worth picking, maybe act 3 mercs could cast curses. I dunno. Something. :)

I don't really understand all the whimpering and whining... :) Gives us all a new challenge.... Just hope they do run the full firestorm also. Anyone who wants to use duped stuff shouldn't be here in the first place destroying things for everyone else. As for the duped runes... and all the runewords... well.. they are expensive to make properly and the number available indicates the number of dupes. Bring on the reset.... I'm looking forward to it for one... Certainly beats repeated item runs - and I don't take the game as seriously as some for that is what it is.... A GAME. It ISN'T REALITY.

For those of you who can't face a reset and want to give up because of that... please do so... Will make the realm a quieter place and you can then experience the realities of life without D2 to take you away from them...

As for me... I'll be around from time to time.

hopefully they'll patch it too, and find a way to eradicate dupes.

heh Ilikestuff, you make me laugh =D

but yeah, a patch would definitely do a lot to soothe souls around here it seems, but like Grimey said, no one should expect dupes to go away unless Blizzard makes HUGE changes

but at least it will be a lot calmer for awhile, before the economy gets rockn and rollin again (I'm actually really curious as to what the early economy is going to look like, everything is going to be way more valueable, even gold, how funny is that?)

I don't understand why ppl think it's a fresh start. It's not. jsp users will insta-buy shopped/duped items for their 10-50k reserves of forum gold and dominate the newbs once again. So the rich will remain rich and well equipped, while the poor will become clueless beggars again :p

Moreover.. they'll buy some gear and set their bots, so they can get more stuff and sell them when its most needed.. like, shakos (worth ~ist at ladder start iirc), for instance. So they will get even richer.

If you enjoy playing this game it's ok.. Ladder reset is fun for many reasons.. but don't say it makes rich and poor equal. it does not :whistling:

agreed.

i dont know how many people use jsp etc in proportion to peeps who actually play the game, but sure, they'll have good items, but only for them, cos the rest of us wont have anything to trade with them :p

and thanks CYBERPUNK, i do try and keep it light hearted and entertaining. except when i'm ina bad mood. then i'm like Burger King. I'm looking for someone/something to flame!
