One of the many reasons I prefer to play Single Player, I was nearly tppk'd once on my javazon, in baals throne room. Necro starts spamming bone spirit and within a second he's hostile. See a bone spirit heading to me, thinking "crap".. then see my nice amazon dodge/block it.. i lol'd.

Kaxe now that I am home - I have had a look around that joke of a website that the person who killed u advertised - what a dump. Conversations (if u can call them that) basically resolve in firing insults to each other. Seems all they do is talk about scripts and hacks etc. And no i did not join just browsed their forum.
The latest member to join was called STINGER .... I serious doubt it was the esteemed gentleman from here :wink3:

Hope to get across the message that although u were killed it was to a person who would lose a game of tiddly winks with a brain dead coma patient and has an IQ that would make a glass of water blush.....

Hopefully your friends can get you (with your limited time) back up into the high high numbers soon.

What is quite sad and I'm by no means the first to say this and no doubt the last - blizzard is slowly seeing a decay in people with this fantastic game.

And all it would take to re-ignite it (especially hardcore) is removal of coward tactics and hacks. Hell I could even live with the bugged vipers, but if all of a sudden you could not do TPPK's and their like - the floodgates would open and I suspect you would really see what hardcore could do, full public games.

Sure you could still get killed by legit means, that would keep the ear hunters happy. Anyway I'll stop rambling and get down from this --> :soapbox:

On a happier note I am looking forward to creating a PK magnet, and I have no idea why...... hopefully I get done by geniune means! Oompie will fly in and take me and McCain out! LOL :grin:

Currently 16 I think, all pubby - trist runs went fine - at level 11 ish I got ignored really and left well alone. Ran till 14 - just arrived at Act 2.

Gear - found Hotspurs :smiley:

He's a paladin and I have focused on Might and Charge. So when it gets rough he may be able to take/land a shot.

Europe realm so far is at peace..... next time my game shall be named something like "Total PK Safe Zone" :thumbsup:

See if I get a reaction.
 
Dude, too bad tou already are at 16 or something, but with Hotspurs, Nokozan and some 9maxed gear you can start legit PKing in chant games from around lvl 13 or so I believe :D

i realy would like a quick answer to the question i poosted earlyer and is again down here.

if you run different copies of the game... do you need both 2 copies of the original diablo II and the lord of destruction expansion... or is just a 2th expension enough?

that is because tomorrow i might come in a situation where i could buy some games... and it would be nice to know what i should be buying.

the whole point is to be able to run a 2th diablo on my laptop... wich will be standing next to my pc.

please poost the answer here, as i cannot be sure if i can be on tonight or not.

They know this - I've lost count of how many times I've told them. Worse, they are losing reputation as well. I've come to the view that the only thing lamer than tppk script kiddies is Blizzard for allowing them to do it.

I also believe that nothing would please blizzard more than to be able to shut down the D2 servers and save some money.

Lastly, ideas for character names ...

You need both, mate. It doesn´t matter wich CD you use to install but you need two different Classic codes and two different LOD codes.

My new char will start today. The name will be insulting Blue Moon in some way, as it would be funny if some of their script kiddies would PK it and it would be listed. :azn:

I didn´t even make my mind up yet, what char I should use, ama and assa both sound good for dodge&evade aswell as clawblock&fade. We´ll see.

Wow you are 16 already? I don´t think this will end in a tie then. Of course my game names will be insulting the BMPKs aswell.



 
You should have had details of my three main accounts which I donated to the KTA mule store via a PM a week or so back. The only other account I use is drinkturps (oddly enough) for the KTA sessions. :smiley:
 
Tika - I have as mentioned 2 bought Copies of the game - but due to the way I have it configured - only 1 is installed and I essentially "float" my keys on the 1 install. I may PM you the rest of the details....

Yeah I agree Blizzard is looking at Diablo 2 like a kid who's staying at the parents house a little too long and needs to shuffle off now!

I like those names - wish I made mine a little more insulting especially to that BMPK lot. No one has even hostiled me yet - I feel insulted to be honest! lol

Hopefully Act 2 can provide more of an incentive for them - may go wondering round chant games, and yes I could legit-PK people probably now, PKs_AreEasyPeasy is a man of peace - you need to pick on him first!

Would you guys ever be interested in an 'Ironman' kind of thing? All this talk of PvP and PK's has sparked an interest of mine that i've never had a real stab at...

We could either all start from scratch in a norm game, all level up together using what we find, or add some minor twinkage depending on how we feel, then have a friendly All v All just to see what happens...if we do twink, as we are all mates, we can have a 'floater' character in town (Ivan's 2nd loader?! :tongue:) to loot us so no loss of items if we did want to twink minorly...
The only times I have ever gone hostile and done something was once waaaaaay back in 1.08 when a sorc entered the game screaming "Someone kill me!!" over and over...the game's inhabitants asked why and after a while the sorc declared her build was wrong and just wanted to die...she was only lvl 15 and we were somewhat higher so it was a one-hit boom and the sorc left, no hassle...weird though...
The second time was just before the new ladder season started and my cousin had totally bodged his sorc's build and was going to erase it but I persuaded him to mule off the items and let me chase him down with my IK Barb...he was mid-lvl gear still but it was fun running after my cousin with him trying in vain to chill me with Ice Bolts until I got ahold of him and bashed his brains out with Bonesnap...apt... :grin:

If you guys are interested post here and we can arrange something one eve as it won't take long to lvl up all together in a full game to 9 or beyond...

Sounds good. "BMPKs are wimps" was my first idea, to make them prove me wrong. :grin:

I have only heared the hostile sound in SC yet and a few times I gave it a try with various results:

- LOD game of level 90+ chars, Hammerdin level 97 hostiles the whole run no one cares, he kills everybody with one or two hammers.
- Classic Run, I´m the teleing sorc, other sorc hostiles, I don´t want to loose the run so I go for the fight. Fight took arround half a minute in the CS with both of us having close calls and teleing like mad, in the end he manages to get an Orb from the sweet spot in and kills me. Run did continue though.
- Classic run again, by far the funniest incident so far. Barb about the same level goes hostile. Since I´m good at teleing and evading all sort of crap I give it a try and wait for him not far from the entrance to the CS. He arrives and stops 1.5 screens away from me. I stand still and wait for him to start the fight and after waiting for 10 seconds he starts running in my direction exactly into the Orb I fire at him. He is dead before the fight even started and after some comments of the other players, joins our run. It even gets better, when I see IM above his head and an other players starts to count backwards "3 ... 2 .... 1 ....". At that moment he whirls through a group of monsters and dies the second time. Hilarous moment.

I don´t count some friendly competition among my clanmates. Well if there is enough interest, I would like to press the hostile button in HC aswell.

Yeah I like the sound of the Ironman event - get me a chance to bash your lots brain in! :laugh:

I could sit with my other dude and loot everyone at the end - just think though bragging right could be fought for! :thumbsup:
