Well, decision has been made, I'm ditching my non-KTA chars. I need the time for school for the next couple of months. Knowing myself it's probably best to burn my ships behind me

I'll probably send you guys my non-kta accounts so you can scavenge them I'll think of something.

I've slowly been adding items to KTA_Storage2 on the 1st set n uniq mules...think I added some elsewhere as well but I can never be sure!

Did ubers again last night with Tom; 14-19 Pala torch which he is going to sell for more keys I think so I can get some torches! It's such a rush and great exp! Wailing on the mini-ubers is nice as well...this time Lillith didn't have **** on me n Tom as we had her in a corner!! Furnace seems to be the biggest pain all around...I used zon in there with LF as my meteorb wouldn't be as effective due to the high amount of fire immune jerks...and IM is a big a pain as ever...
Did keyrunning after that, I hit summoner while Tom hit countess...after 13-14 runs we had 1 hate and 2 terror...after our chosen keydroppers we would hit an act boss just to make it worth it and I got a Boneshade from Meph for my Bonemancer and Tom didn't get much from Andy iirc!

Might be on again tonight for more running around!

Are we doing KTA tonight? I think it's about time we kicked back in with it again and what better way to kick it off with something simple like a few NM Baalruns?! :tongue:

The thing is, ya see, i'm gonna be doing piss-poor damage in Hell with 'The Chieftan' and we can get decent XP from now (69 in my case) until clvl 75 with a full game o' peeps which exposes my hidden motive...those few lvls will provide me with the Str to equip 'Bonehew' and have a fighting chance in Hell!!!

Need a Shael rune and an Amn rune for it as well please so I can hit bp's with my current equipment and still maintain nice life leech...

Let me know your thoughts people...

But we need to be as prepared as possible for Hell...as a team...I do sod-all damage now so I won't do much more in Hell and i'd rather be of some use before we move on and we can also get juicy stuff from NM Baal...

I agree, a few NM Baals to warm up with is a good thing. We may get something decent for Mr K to smack the bad boys of Hell with.

Doing a couple runs sounds fine by me... Get the hang of that cutypants bowchick again. Runes should be no probby, last thing I remember we were drowning in Amns and have quite a number of Shaels as well.

And hopefully I can get some resists stuff from Baal coz i REALLY need some resists, tbh

Still feeling guilt from my NM HF bonehead here...was thinking I could donate some Lum's for 'Smoke' (and Lem for Treachery for your bird oOmpie....mmmm...tasty speed there...and your etheral *** when Fade triggers will be a peachy delight :tongue: ) if we feel we are lacking in Res...which is what we would have got from HF!! We shall see how it goes eh?

(OT: oOmpie, i'm gonna be embarking on some Uberunning again soon, if I could have that key when we finish tonight i'd be very grateful...:thumbsup: )

Did ya get IK Armour n Tal's Armour for that Gul rune you got then? If so, nice one!
Put 2 x Sol in the helm and you can run Nilly-willy for Destruction keys n make a mint in trade!

Sol's is a good idea for helm. He still needs some levels - he's not that quick at killing things at the mo, need some levels on him - see if I can catch Haain up! :grin:

Yeah I sold the gul (best ever HF drop) - started advertising at like 3am on a sunday morning and was on like 1 second and got bombed with offers for 2-3 mins. Popular item.

I was playing Robin Hood with my Sorc last night with Tom (round level 20) to get some XP (tombs and Cows) enchanted of course!

Doing a Light Sorc with backup in Cold. - Thinking Key Runner and MF-er.
She was technically the second of the day - died at 14 on a pubby - was eating hands no where near the keyboard and ran into a stair trap at Andy!

Time to rummage around those mules - as I lost my Ithra's full set (1 level off wearing it).

My Smiter is also a thing I need to work on - so we can UberTrist and become rich...... I forsee it :fortuneteller:

May even reverse the arrangement from time to time your barb and my Pally. Also can give my avenger a run out in Tristram to support you guys for a laugh.

it was a nice play yesterdayevening again.

with the return of waflob/Belboy we were at 7 KTAers... and things were still nice and easy. are you here to stay Belboy?

we made a beginning with hell.. and i must say resists are a bit worriing there. and if you are not a melee kinda guy thats "soso"... but when you are into the battle like some of us.... hmm... sounds nasty. i will probably do some gambling/shopping this week and trade my sigons set parts in for res items... see if that helps me out a bit.

even in hell we managed to kill things pretty fast... as a team that is. i felt that the huge difference in dmg output became more and more visible very soon. some of us still slapped the baddies to pieces quite hard... while some others kinda... scratched their backs to death. Best example of this was when our fury wolf and me (ww barb) were left behind a bit somewhere in the stoney field. we encountered a zombie... and both started to attack... as did our mercs and bear. it toke us so long to kill a zombie in act 1 that i felt completely ashamed for myselve.

for the fury druid the "firepower issue" was solved once he reached the str lvl so he could reach our selffound bonehew... wich made his dmg skyrocked. I however was kinda bored and dull with the fact that wether i joined in a battle or not... it made no difference at all... so at the end of the evening i decided to mule in a weapon for myselve (wich of cource will be the only non untwinked item (for me at least)). i did happen to find a doombringer on the KTA mules... so my barb is not only much happyer now... he also looks way better then with the table knife he was using before. i will need a sheal once we find 1 to make the speed element come into his own again... because it will then reach the last WW BP.

evendough i wasnt feeling all the well yesterday, and still. (bit ill) i had a wonderfull evening. just questing with an almoost full party is a nice thing to do.

best find of the evening was without a doubt a gul rune... that is if we dont count the (fake) cham.

hope to cya next week in such great numbers again.

yep - was a fun session. I was glad that was room for one more and that I had a suitable char (build and level) to join in with.

I must confess that I've been playing quite a bit of World Of Warcrack lately, but in a group I felt quite safe, even if the controls etc were a bit strange at first. Good idea, doing those nm baal runs first, even if the drops didn't really get anyone drooling too heavily

As for future planning, the Russian couse will be starting up again and it will be Monday evenings. It looks as if they try to keep the same day for the same group, which might prove to be a nuisance. Good news is that it won't start up again for another few weeks, so with luck, I might even be able to complete this kta session and get to hell baal.

The char I was using is using all self-found gear, with nothing really uber. The best items are probably the vipermage and the buri. All others are soso. As mentioned in game, she's a classic glass cannon, with all points in dex.
