I'm kinda confused here skool. No one (except one other person) even cast a vote for me, but in the end, I didn't have any votes that day! Sooooo, what exactly did I say that "scream 'I'm a mafia' "? :scratch: (Obviously this only applies to before I was lynched).

Some of the new roles look interesting, but having watched or been involved with several games of Forum Assassin in the Community Forum, I've got the impression that adding more than a few screwballs to the game at a time can often result in messiness. I'd think that at least half (and probably more) of the players should be townsfolk with no other role, if not just to keep things controllable for the game ref, though it also seems that more roles can help compensate for a lack of real-life tells.

It had gone very quiet after that raid on the illicit cannery - something to do with bootleg tins of spam?
Anyway, the game's afoot once more - I've shortlisted ten names as my suspects for being mafioso. I won't speculate in public though.

The one about not wanting to use the witness if it was you, although Lister made that point too and we saw how big of mafia he was. Besides you, I didn't get any of the mafia right :embarassed:, so I guess my mafia speech detector needs a big tune up.
I wouldn't go around saying this, ended up with like ten people banned from the other thread...

Mafia or not, I'm not sure that I could have stepped up that early in the game to eliminate a Mafia member, only to be out myself. Props to SLoS for doing it.
Besides, I'm not convinced that you considered me, wholeheartedly, a Mafia member. My play style was unchanged from round 1 to round 2. It is funny to read what makes people suspicious of each other, even on the first day!
Did I enter the twilight zone or something. I keep hearing about these temp bans, but noone will say anything about it. I, for one, don't want to fall into that same circumstance....can anyone shed light onto these bans? I don't need to know who did it, but it would be nice to know what they did, so I don't make the same mistake.

I vote you host either the next or the fourth one, you don't play so much as you get murdered :laugh: . I'll be glad to host it next time (I didn't last long in the second one anyway).

I didn't want to get out that early either, but since someone already suspected me I thought it was better to use that ability before being lynched. Anyway, I did not want to use it the first night since that would exclude me from any playing at all. At first I thought the first night would be the best time to use it, but I'm not so sure anymore. The advantage of using it later is that everyone has at least had a chance in making themselves suspect, which puts the posts of the first day in a different light after one mafia member has been revealed.
Especially the first day indeed, it's really anything you say can and will be used against you.
As has been said before, a flaming spam fest was the way they got themselves banned (not that I actually read the posts, I just saw a thread having been locked and, curious, looked at the last post in the thread, the one by Cattleya wherein she denounced the behaviour of some of the members and announced she was locking the thread).
But back on the game, this one is taking too long for looking on from the sidelines.
Anyhow, I'm interested in organizing an edition, but with Sint already volunteering for round four and Skoolbus for round three, I guess that will be round five.

I would just like to go on record and say that I categorically did not start the "Noodle for Village Idiot" campaign. I merely heard about it and began supporting it enthusiastically.
Noodle has my full support, should he also want to run for Town Mayor (as holding both of those offices at the same time should not be a problem - it certainly isn't in real life).
