Frenzy and IAS in weapon

My Frenzier uses a Lightsabre and a Grandfather.
I am not sure if Frenzy calculates the average speed of both weapons, then adds the IAS from the rest of the equipment and the skills, or if only the speed of the right weapon is useful.
Thus, if I Shael the GF, The average speed should be higher.
But when I use a weapon speed calculator, even if I add 120 IAS to the GF, the speed stays at 5.5 fps.
So my final question is, is it useful to Shael my GF or not?

frenzy speed is determined by the primary hand, so ideally u should put the lightsabre in the primary, (hand above glove) shael the lightsabre and it should increase the fps u frenzy at.

Also list other gear so that it can be easily determined where ur getting ur increased attack speed from.

IAS from the off-hand weapon doesn't help in any way. Base speed matters (eg zerker is faster than ettin), but not ias.

The calc should be correct for Frenzy.
