Ai easily took out Baal on p8. Don't think my life ball dropped below 3/4ths the entire act. Still looking for that perfect item to personalize. Will try running cows tommorow in hopes of finding it. Did manage to get infernostride off a random monster, but as I already have a Nokazon relic not sure if its worth keeping.

I'm sure Skunkbelly can clarify, but I thought the rules were pretty clear that the item to be personalized had to be from Act 5, so that would rule out getting something from the cow level to personalize.

Yes, the item for personalization must come from act 5. Cows are not act 5.

By my count, there are still seven people who have not completed act 5: milb, scarred_life, Brak, hrus, JoeBruce, Billybgame, and Freekje. If I'm wrong on any of those counts, please let us all know.

GertrudeStein has killed NM Andariel and is ready to be sent onwards once the green light is given for sending characters on who have completed A1 NM.

Notley has completed act 5 and Normal, and been sent to Freekje.
Interesting things:
Didn't have much of anything to properly equip her with, for her chosen build. So, for once, the rescue Anya gift was a nice thing for her.
Also, only did a quick once through of act 5, for expediency's sake. Didn't even do the Cow Level. Luckily, a Gravenspine wand dropped for me, on the way to Baal. In looking, I had pretty much nothing to good, in the way of wands, for my upcoming(hopefully) Necros. So, that was good enough to personalize, for me.
After serious, serious deliberation, I socketed my Coldkill hatchet. Tough choice there. But, that seems to be one I could use with multiple NM characters.

One interesting thing is that I have now seen at least eight different items of the set and unique items from my original stash drop during the game. It's kind of a weird feeling to see some un-ID'd copy of "my gear" on the ground. That is with basically no MFing and no MF gear, just rerunning areas for experience, money, charms, gems and runes. That is a pretty sizable fraction of my original stash! One of my items I've seen at least 8 copies of, but that is not so surprising if you know what it is (not Isenhart's Case, but close in ubiquity.)

Ignatow has finally been sent along. I finally gave up trying to find something usefull to personalize. After a while at both Baal and Eldritch I had found no heavy gloves and no especially nice golds/greens. So Ignatow ended up personalizing a Boneflesh, and now he's off to HP.

Finished up Tennyson, socketed a Plain Grim Helm so I can runeword it in the next act after a few countess runs, I personalized an ethereal Undead Crown to get my merc some Life Leech.
I didn't spend as much time as I would have liked on this character but frankly it was pretty boring, and I didn't really have the time so I just got him over and done with.
I'll be sending him on shortly, hopefully the next one will be more fun :smiley:

Milosz has rescued Anya, currently prepared to hunt down Nihlathak. I have also received my A1 NM character, but have not yet opened the email to download the file (what is the etiquette on this? I figured looking at the character before I had finished act5 could be unfairly advantageous to me).
When I received Milosz he was lvl 26, and I at first considered playing him through act5 would be less than simple. Upon further examination, however, I found an excellent build for him and have put 10-11 levels on him during the first half of the act. Fun stuff. Looking forward to being done with him though and playing my first casters (hopefully), since I have yet to have a necro or sorc (and I have some rather tasty caster gear in my stash....)

Sorry, didn't mean to come off as complaining. Updike received and running. Finally glad to see a challenge, might not be running the Countess as much as expected :grin: .
Found nothing worth personalizing so just did a Poleaxe that I'll try cubing 4 sockets into to make Insight. Used socket quest on 30 res all circlet but only got one hole.

Didn't take it that way so no worries. It's all part of the fun of this tournament. Glad you liked Updike. I sure had fun playing her!
OT: This tournament has been a blast as I've only really played Necromancers and Sorceress in the past. Now I'm somewhat inspired to explore some of the other characters. Thanks
