Skunkbelly's Ultimate Tournament Challenge

I easily defeated Diablo with Kenyon tonight and passed her along to Hrus. I've also safely received Jarrell from CB and will begin playing A5 with him tonight. I must admit though, I know very little about Druid's and I have no idea at all what build he is supposed to be! I'll figure something out though I hope.

Quasimodo shall henceforth be known as Destroyer Quasimodo. I will send him along (and give the go-ahead for act 1 NM) as soon as I have verification that the following players have completed act 4: scarred_life, purplelocust, freekje.

Ignatow completed Act 4 and was sent along to crazy_bear before my travels, see post #357! I got HD while I was travelling and will start her trip thorugh A5 later today.



 
I have completed Act 4, quite a while ago actually but something happened at my ISP and it's been down pretty much all day until now. Just got finished sending Tennyson on. Looking forward to Act 5.
 
Gertrude Stein has completed Act 5. I received her at level 31 and I will pass her on at level 48. I think that I used the 17 levels fairly well. She killed Baal in about two minutes at Players 8 without losing merc. She did not even have to use health potions!! Lister and his crew were even easier (about 20 seconds). I have played similar builds before, but I have never had equipment like this! Tweaking really makes a difference.

I noticed that Freekje, Scarred life and Purple Locust have finished act 4, so Skunkbelly will probably be starting NM shortly. Therefore, I will email GertrudeStein to Purple Locust now.
 
I finished Act 5 with Jarrell, he was actually quite fun. I haven't decided which item I'm going to have Larzuk socket, but once I do (sometime in the next few days) I will pass him along to Hrus.

Destroyer Updike is in the camp. In the process of killing Baal, he fashioned a portion of Baal's skin into a nice shiny gold armor. Alas, that Updike won't be able to carry it with him to the next act but someone else will have fun with it. I still need to think about what needs some sockets before sending him on.

I completed act 4 as well, thought I posted about it but probably forgot.

I am going to try and finish act 5 today with Olga the Assassin.
 
Eliot has killed Baal and been bestowed with the title of Destroyer. I am done with him and will send him to EJB shortly.

Hope all the Americans had a great holiday!

If you have completed act 5, please pass your character forward now. If you have received your act 1 NM character, you may begin playing them when you are ready.

Please do NOT pass along your act 1 NM character when you are finished... I want to make sure everyone is done with act 5 first.

So far, only one death all the way through act 4. That's pretty good! We'll see how long that lasts.

And it won't be Frost. Frost made Destroyer, and he is considerably stronger and more able to survive. then again 18 or so levels will do that to a guy.

Frost will be sent along shortly after I decide what to socket and what to personalize.

I can hardly wait... no really, I am eager to see this guy. That reminds me of something. Is everyone taking screen shots of the skill trees before sending the character to the next person??? If so, we will be able to analyze the growth of characters as they die and determine who the evil players really are:evil:

Speaking of personalizing items, I found that I could not find an item that was better than my stash items. Finally, I personalized a 2 socket staff hoping to runeword "leaf" at some point. But, unless I use a fire sorceress at some point, that is a waste of time. Oh well.

I ran Baal a couple of time, looking for something to personalise. After a few runs, he kindly dropped an Impaler (I think it's called). Seemed like a good generic act 2 merc stick ...

ps - also found a sol - highest rune so far !



 
I personalized a pair of boots with Lightning Resist since that is one thing I seemed to be lacking in my stash. I didn't see any reason in personalizing a weapon since anything I found in norm would be quickly obsolete.

Still haven't decided what I'm going to socket yet though.
