Mines are:
for normal difficulty: The Chieftain (unique twohanded axe)
for nightmare: honor runeword worked well and the lifesteal makes it very comfortable.
for hell: no idea yet. I go for obedience runeword. Scythe has style, I'll become the Grim Reaper itself!

For me
1. Infy in Thresher with Faith merc, fixes ar problems. And huge crushing blow. Only 11fpa, but other mods are so nice. And looks good. Very good party member.

2. Grief (-25poison resist), used with nova-melee hydrid. Itd and good damage. Helped nova too. Easy to get that 10fpa even with hydrid build.
Not real melee build, as nova kills way too fast. At least some poison immunes.

3. Fleshripper, poison dagger gived nice ar boost and FleshR was good start to get 100% crushing. Easy to get that 10fpa with this.

4. Obedience (Giant Thresher) is nice too, huge range. Nice ar boost with enchant. Infy is still little better for polearm class, as it was little easier to hit with it, and more party friendly.


norm and nmare goes usually with Raven Claw/Kuko. Easy to solo 1st 65 lvls with those and change hell items around lvl65.

Grief + Trang Gloves hands down. Trang Gloves will boost the Venom. Breath of the Dying also works wonders too with the Poison Nova being boosted. Obedience is great as a boss-beater stick.
