what's the best place to rune-hunt?

I know it's all luck. But can someone give me some directions? What's the best place? Or what are the places that high class runes (such as Enigma) MIGHT drop. Appreciate.

I believe countess and hephasto (the hellforge smith guy) have good odds at dropping runes. A lot of the mid-rare ones can drop from everybody and the rarest drop from the higher level folk: Pit, Worldstone, Baal, Pindle

Yeah acording to d2data.net the best monsters to go after for high lvl runes is the Council Members

River of Flame runs are best in statistics.. Wraiths have a slightly improved runedrop and Heph have the best chance to drop Zod. Wouldnt hold my breath tho..

So far travincal hell high councils drop me hel, lem,io etc...

10 mins ago.. one of them dropped me a legit CHAM!!!!! i am sooooooo Happy!! will keep it for sourvenor..lol

The best to run travincal hell is a hammedin, imho , with white dwarf & max fire resist(basically immunse to fire), hide behind those walls & BH them to death .. very fast runs. My group of friends keep doing trav runs... very worth to find alot of items (eg.. vipermagi, tal ammy, mara's, alma negra gheeds, & lots more .....)

Hammerdin is NICE for travincal.

I just run close to the entrance, and cast hammers... they all running on me and well... they came close if lucky
