Sorry for the noob question although I've played this game for over several yrs, but stopped for over a year and returned
Where is pit? Is it good for pure cold sorcy?

I know that ancient tunnels is a lvl 85 place for pure cold sorcy to MF, but I'm a bit curious if Pit is also available for pure cold sorcy to MF?

if you cann kill cold immunes with your sorc, than its good for you. it's in the tamoe-highlands, btw.

Personally, I wouldn't pit with a pure cold sorc. More than half the monsters are cold immune (well, most of the time at least). Unless you're willing to dodge, literally, the cold immune monsters, then by all means do so. The pits are located in the Tamoe Highlands. The easiest way would be to take the Outer Cloister and teleport southwest and follow the trail. It should either lead to a cave (The Pits) or to the Black Marsh, depending on which way you take when the road forks.

Most of the monsters in the pits are cold immune. Doh looks like all 3 of us posted at the same time.

The Pits are located in the Tamoe Highland, in Act 1. The quickest way there is to go to the Outer cloister WP and follow the road. The Pits are not a good place for a pure cold sorc to MF in because there are many cold immunes there. For pure cold sorc, stick with Ancient Tunnels.

Probably , I'll doing Ancient Tunnels and Pindle for a Hell MF run.

Hell Meph is dangerous for me , as I do not get enough FCR to teleport down to Durance of the Hate level 3.
