This is pissing me off, everytime I try to get the patch this happens-

I don't have any clue as to what the problem is, however I know how frustrating it can be waiting on a reply. My only suggestion would be trying to d/l the patch directly from this site or blizzard site if they provide it (which I only assume they would ) Keep me updated.

Still isn't working-

How do I open the port?
By the way: I don't even have a firewall.

If you have windows service pack 2, make sure diablo 2 is one of the excepted programs in the control panel windows firewall section.

I don't have Windows Service Pack 2. I just need to know how to open that port.

It'll be probably easier to give you instructions of we know what type of router you have.

As Orphan stated it's probably a router issue. Routers act like firewalls. Very stupid ones.
