Can I sell and re-buy a soj?

Hi. :xsmile:
I just wondered...
In order to activate the Uber Diablo,
Can I sell a SOJ to a merchant and then re-buy it?
Will it trigger the "XXX soj sold to merchants" message?
And will it eventually trigger the DC (Diablo clone)?

I was experimenting with selling a Nagel ring, and re-buying it,
which was successful.
I sold it for about 3k, and bought it back for about 5k.
Now, Soj and NagelRing has about the same SELL value.
So , If I could sell and re-buy a soj for a cost of about 2k,
Thats easy!
now, I have found a soj (Andariel my love gave it to me ),
And I am afraid to try that because the soj may disappear!
And I need it! :xeek:

I am sorry if it's a noobish question,
I tried to search the thread, but the search didn't work...
Well, please help!
Thanks,
JustBeee.

this is based on my experience: selling sojs has nothing to do with inviting dc to do his morning/noon/afternoon or evening walk on earth.

often enough i was in trading games and nobody selling sojs or i was mf-ing and suddenly the counting began.

all about being in the lucky server, in a lucky game and at the right time.

That is all exactly right.

And by right, of course I mean totally and horribly wrong.

Soj don't have to be sold in your game, just on the server you're on. However, it is possible that there are other actions that will cause the counter to rise. Even so, it is well documented that selling soj raises the counter.

Is it also documented that the counter might not have anything to do with anything?
