21 years after the original game was released, Diablo 2 Resurrected is finally live.
When the clock struck 4PM in the UK, the servers went live and the multiplayer lobby started filling up. It’s a weird feeling going through a Diablo 2 launch for the second time but it’s fantastic to be back in knowing we can play right through all Acts.
So far the launch has gone smoothly and we’ll be monitoring things as the day goes on.
I now want to point out a few things for new players who have arrived at PureDiablo.
- Use the forums. There are users in there that can help with two decades of experience with the game and how have not stopped playing in all that time.
- Use the guides for getting to grips with some of the builds. There are hundreds of them here on the site in the guides section and the forums.
- Use the Diablo 2 reference sections. All the content here has been compiled over 20 years. We pretty much wrote the book on Diablo 2 content.
- Ask questions. This is a great community and everyone is happy to help.
Most of all, enjoy the game and experiment. Everyone plays Diablo 2 differently but having fun while playing is key.
