Collectors try to get a hold on the runewords and unique items they do not possess yet. Adepts of PvP find ways of improving their stats that will tilt the balance in their favor during a fight. But frankly, there are not many things left to do in Diablo II. So, I propose a new challenge while we are eagerly waiting for Diablo III to come out. It’s pretty simple. You try to wipe out as fast as possible the monsters of the last two floors of the Worldstone Keep, the Throne of Destruction, and Baal in Hell difficulty using gears of ''great champions and heroes from the past '' aka '''Set items'''. The rules are as follow:
* Characters must wear the full item set at all time. No switching to alternate equipment allowed
* It is not allowed to use a given non-set item on more than one character. This is to prevent character build on a few powerful objects that you might possess. So if you painstakingly acquired Fortitude you can only use it on one build. However, if you own another Fortitute, you can use it on another build
* When a given set can be used by all character classes, there are sub-categories for each class
* The race begins when entering the second floor of the Worldstone Keep using the last way point in act V
* All monsters from every little corner and dead-end must by slayed
* Mercenaries are allowed
* Additional constrains for the Berserker set challenge: the character should be a Barbarian using Berserker as the attack skill (this will be a tough one)
* There is an open category where any kind of equipment can be used so that you can also test your best character
* When setting or breaking a record in a given category (see below), edit the page and enter your time and indicate the non-set items worn by your heroe
